Polfa Tarchomin S.A. was a partner of the 1st National Congress of Pharmacy Chains
Organised by the “Po Zdrowie” Foundation, the first congress of that type took place on the 4th to 5th of December in “Praska Drukarnia”. Our company – as an experienced, Polish enterprise – had the opportunity to take part in this event as a Special Partner.
The idea of a National Congress of Pharmacy Chains was created by the “Po Zdrowie” Foundation specifically for the environment of pharmacy chains, especially small and medium, with Polish capital. Part of this event is organised into two-day workshops and lectures covering contemporary problems of the chains.
The topic of the December conference was devoted first of all to the aspect of development of pharmacy chains in Poland, a/o legal changes for 2015, changes in the area of parallel imports, new marketing and advertising trends as well as retail. The speakers of these topics, among others, are: Prof. Dr. hab. Henryk Mruk, lawyer Oskar Luty, legal counsel Marcin Flak (DFL Legal law office), Marcin Gawroński (IMS) and Jacek Barankiewicz (Polish Direct Marketing Association).
The special guest of the event was Robert Coopman, a delegate of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores – an Association of Pharmacy Chains in USA.
Topics of the lectures and their content attracted wide interest, which was evidenced by the attendance. During each lecture, the hall was full. Until now, the Foundation has been receiving e-mails with congratulations, especially for the substantive value of the conference.
Over 350 people took part in the meeting. It was the first congress of pharmacy chains on such a large scale.
